ABSTRACT: The impact of early childhood education on innovation is essential for understanding how early educational experiences foster innovative thinking and problem-solving skills in children. This study investigates how early childhood education programs influence the development of innovative abilities. The objectives are to (1) assess improvements in children's ability to think creatively and solve problems, (2) evaluate the integration of innovation-promoting activities in early childhood education curricula, and (3) examine changes in children's capacity to develop novel solutions. A survey design is employed to gather comprehensive data on the impact of early childhood education on innovation. A purposive sample of 100 children  from preschools in Ogun State was used. The case study focuses on a preschool known for its innovation-promoting activities. Findings indicated significant improvements in children's ability to think creatively and solve problems, the effectiveness of innovation-promoting activities, and positive changes in children's capacity to develop novel solutions. Recommendations included integrating innovation-promoting activities into early childhood curricula and providing ongoing professional development for educators to foster children's innovative abilities.
